I understand some choose not to buy from brands owned by parent companies that DO test on animals. That’s why I always try my best to disclose which brands are owned by non-cruelty-free companies on my blog. For some, it’s about availability, and oftentimes, those are the only brands they have to choose from when shopping in stores. Isn’t it kind of the same when buying vegan products at the grocery store that sells meat and dairy products too? Some of us don’t have 100% vegan grocery stores in our community so we try our best to buy ethically and consciously with what we have.

It’s not really cruelty free if the parent company who is ultimately getting the money is testing.

Also, just a note. Marvis is noted as 100% vegan, but the picture shown on their website for the whitening toothpaste has two dead fish on either sides of it. Thought it was interesting.

It’s cheaper that way too!

I’ve seen a few articles saying they are both cruelty free and vegan , but I’m still a bit skeptical

You can buy it at Coles or Woolworths for about $4.50. It’s a great tasting toothpaste.
