As consumers, it’s important for us to choose products that align with our values and don’t harm animals or the environment.

I particularly appreciate how the article provides a breakdown of each brand’s certifications and product offerings, making it easier for us to make informed decisions when shopping for vegan beauty products.

Additionally, I would like to mention that I recently discovered a great vegan and cruelty-free skincare brand called Vegreen. Their products are made with natural and organic ingredients, and they are committed to creating sustainable packaging as well.

I am curious to know how we can add Vegreen to this list of amazing vegan and cruelty-free beauty brands. Is there a specific process or criteria that we need to meet in order to be featured on the list? I believe it would be a great addition to the already impressive list of brands mentioned in this article.

I also thought GXVE Beauty by Gwen Stefani and The Lip Bar were vegan and cruelty free.

I realized there are a lot of new vegan brands since I last researched. I was trying to contact possible new brands myself, but you’ve saved me a lot of hassle. I didn’t see Athr Beauty, No Miss, or Manic Panic on your lists. I thought they were vegan brands. Was I wrong about that?

I have only been purchasing items from the categories you include in your 100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free/NOT owned by parent company that is NOT 100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free. I am having difficulty finding some products. ANY suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
1) Does White Musk perfume fragrance exist? I used to wear White Musk cologne etc., made by Jovan. I no longer buy it-Jovan is neither 100% Vegan or Cruelty-free, they sell their products in China.
Years ago the Body Shop was 100% V & CF. They sold White Musk fragrance perfume, oil, body wash etc. A large company bought the Body Shop. They have some V-CF items, but they are NOT 100% V & CF.

2) I am search for 100% V-CF bar soap for the body that does NOT have a strong aroma, & doesn’t dry out skin. I used to use body wash. I want to switch to bar soap to reduce the amount of waste (body wash empty bottles) Any ideas?

3) Are there any 100% V-CF mascaras available in different colors? Burgundy, red, plum, green, etc.
Thank you for reading my post. I appreciate any suggestions. Stay healthy & safe!

Best wishes,
D

Yes! Aveda is both cruelty-free* and vegan.

*note that Aveda is owned by Estee Lauder, a parent company that isn’t cruelty-free.

Because Aveda is owned by Estee Lauder, I’ve decided not to include them on this of 100% vegan brands.

Also, if you’re ever unsure about a particular brand and its cruelty-free & vegan status, the best way to get the most up-to-date information is through our NEW Cruelty-Free Brand Directory → https://ethicalelephant.com/product-brand-directory/ You can now search by brand name in the search bar! =)

Their website, unfortunately, says they’ve closed down for business =(

I love that brand I would hate it if they were no longer vegan !
