Hi, hmm.. I’m looking at the ingredients for the Correction Concentrate off of Pixi’s website and I can’t seem to find beeswax in the ingredient list. Are the ingredients different on the actual product packaging than what’s stated on their website?

“Petrolatum, Diisostearyl Malate, Silica, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Polybutene, Polyethylene, Sorbitan Isostearate, Alumina, Microcrystalline Wax, Glycerin, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Phosphatidylcholine, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Retinyl Palmitate. (Vitamin A), Rosa Canina Fruit Extract, Alcohol, Water, Simethicone, Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Mica (CI 77019), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035:1).”

Hi Anna,

That’s a shame that it’s no longer considered vegan. I’ve removed the Double Cleanse from this vegan product list but I wonder what’s not vegan in it? Hmm.. ????

Thanks for letting me know and helping to keep this list up-to-date and accurate! ????????

Hi Anna, thank you for your patience! Our Customer Service outlets are receiving an influx of requests due to the current circumstances. We hope to find you in good spirits!

Our Pixi Beauty Double Cleanse is not suited for vegan users. some great vegan alternatives are our Hydrating Milky Remover, Rose Cream Cleanser, & our Hydrating Milky Cleanser!

Have a lovely day, please feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have!

Several websites stated that it is vegan. one person said this is not vegan and therefore emailed them. I receive an email back that it is indeed not vegan. I would have bought it again, but don’t do it now.

So I’ve seen a lot of vegan/cruelty free beauty youtubers use the glow tonic. I emailed pixi about it and they said it’s not vegan. I’m so confused!

While urea is usually derived from animal urine it can also be synthesized from synthetic ammonia into a liquid or a solid state. So, oddly enough, vegan urea does exist. You would just need to e-mail pixie and ask them if that ingredient is animal-derived or if the supplier they purchase it from synthesizes it. I hope that helps!
