Vegans don’t eat or use animals or animal derived products. It has nothing to do with chemicals or anything else. It’s a personal choice.

Hiya! This list was provided to me by a representative at PUR cosmetics on Aug 2, 2016.
I see what you’re saying how some of the products on this list are not included on their website’s Vegan product page. As I try and keep this list as accurate and updated as possible.. I’m going to email them and see why there are discrepancies between the two lists! I’ll keep you posted once I hear back! =)

Some of the products that you’ve included in the list above are not on the Official Website of Pur Minerals under the Vegan section. Vegan section only includes 34 products and 4in1 Pressed Mineral Makeup is not one of them.

I received pur correcting primer and it says on the bottle vegan friendly but contains synthetic chemicals? Tell me how that is possible. Vegan’s don’t mind synthetic chemicals but won’t eat an animal? Seems counter productive.

Hi Kelly! I emailed PÜR as soon as I saw your comment and they FINALLY got back to me and they’ve confirmed that you are right, their ‘Cease Crease’ is made from casein derived from an animal source =( They’ve updated their website and it is no longer listed as vegan-friendly now and I’ve done the same on this list. Arghs!

So sorry if this has caused you any inconvenience and I really appreciate you spotting and telling me about the minor mistake =)

In regards to vegan eye primers, Too Faced (some are vegan) and theBalm cosmetics has some!

I’m not sure if it’s synthetic or not, but I’d be interested in knowing, as I’m on the lookout for a good vegan eye primer.
